Eczema and psoriasis are both long-term skin conditions that don’t have a cure. In eczema, the immune system comes to the skin and releases chemical inflammatory markers that cause the skin to become red, weepy and itchy, according to Dawn Davis, M.D., a Mayo Clinic dermatologist. Dr. Davis goes in-depth on both conditions and how to manage them in this Mayo Clinic Q&A podcast.
