Background
Dr. Verdoorn is a geriatrician and internal medicine practitioner. His clinical focus includes care of patients in long-term care facilities, evaluation and management of dementia and related neurodegenerative disorders and providing care at and leading up to the end of life, including advance care planning and care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. He is a certified medical director (C.M.D.) by the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-term Care Medicine, and serves as the medical director of three SNF.
